Well this week was crazy!! Full of ice storms and miracles (:
We had an emergency service project on Friday, because of all of the ice and trees braking power lines were also braking, and so most of Eugene was out of power. And St. Vincent, needed help at their food storage place to put bags and stuff together for those that don't have power. They were trying to call many different churches and no body would answer, nobody was going to come help. Then they called president Russell and told him and he said that he will send all of the missionaries in the valley, so we canceled everything we had planned and went and helped. There was 3 zones there, about 30 missionaries went. It was so cool!
We also put lights up for Cozette, and when I saw we I mean the elders, because it was freezing rain that day and the elders came to help put them up as a surprise for Cozette because she doesn't have a lot of stuff for Christmas. Then we went shopping for stuff for the kids that way they have something to open. Later the bishop and the relief society pres. Came to her house and gave her gift cards and gave her money so that she can buy the kids stuff! She also is having us over for Christmas! I just love her!️️
JEFF CHANGED HIS DATE!!!! He is going to be baptized JANUARY 21ST!!! We met with him last night and we had a super great lesson with him. We meet with him outside, but even though it's freezing we are always warm because when you do what god asks of you he will help you with what you need! Jeff decided that it was time to follow Christ! He is excited and so are we!!!
This week we have Zone Conference in Roseburg then we have CHRISTMAS on Sunday!! I'm so excited to see my family and then we get to spend some time with our zone at President and Sister Russell's house to just "chill" it should be a great week!
Merry Christmas everyone!!! ☃️
Love you all!!
Sister Katie Morgan ️️
